Race to the finish at the 4th annual Best Buddies 5K in beautiful Franklin, TN. Best Buddies is all about friendship. But for 3.1 miles, leave your friends at the starting line! It is every man, woman and child for themselves as they dash through the course for a chance to claim the title as Best Buddies 5K victor. The 2012 Best Buddies 5K is anyone's race to win with the introduction of a new and improved route that yields a more competitive and faster course than in years past. Make some extra room in your wallet as the overall male and female winner will be rewarded a prize purse of $250 each. In addition to the prize purse, there will also be awards for the top three male and female finishers in each age group.
If you would like to go the extra mile to support Best Buddies, please consider collecting pledges from friends and family. The money you raise will help Best Buddies bring friendship to people with intellectual disabilities. Awards will be given to the Top Individual Fundraiser, as well as to the largest team. Also each person that raises $500 will receive a $50 Visa gift card. Raise $1,000 and receive a $100 Visa gift card!
