EHD Tech Receives Award

EHD Technologies, headquarted in Brentwood, TN, was recognized by the Office of the Secretary of Defense for its support of the National Guard and Reserve Forces.
The award ceremony, conducted on Saturday, July 14 by the 803rd Quartermaster Company of the Army Reserves, was held at the unit's base in Opelika, AL. Captain Chris Ficquette, unit commander, presented the award to Jeff McKeehan, president of EHD Technologies.
Staff Sergeant Lisa Deloney, a 13 year veteran of the Army Reserves and member of the 803rd, is employed by EHD Technologies as a regional support specialist. SSG Deloney submitted the award nomination in which she stated, "EHD Technologies is a company that takes pride in supporting the men and women of the military. The president of the company is also the father of a Marine. He understands the importance of military service. With EHD Technologies I never have to worry about the consequences of being called to active duty."
Since 2002 the 803rd has deployed three times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The unit provided logistics and transportation support in Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Iraq.
McKeehan, speaking to the soldiers stated, "At EHD Technologies we hold a special place in our hearts and in our company for members of the United States military. We understand and appreciate the sacrifice that you and your families make for our country."
